Google Celebrating It's 23rd Birthday with a Special Doodle

It is the 23rd birthday of Google. A doodle has been posted on the company's homepage to mark the day. A cake with the number 23 written on it appears in the doodle. Additionally, "Google" contains a birthday candle instead of the letter "L". Rather than a still image, the doodle is animated. Founded on September 4, 1998, Google is the world's largest search engine. In its first seven years, the company celebrated its birthday on September 4, 1998. It was later decided to celebrate on September 27 instead. The announcement coincides with the announcement that this search engine has indexed the most pages ever. Google's co-founders are Sergey Brin and Larry Page. There are a lot of search engines out there, but Google is by far the most popular.
The search engine Google processes billions of searches every day in more than 150 different languages, and although much has changed since Google first launched, starting with a toy box turned server and now housing servers in over 20 data centres worldwide, the company's mission to make information accessible to everyone remains unchanged," the Google Doodle blog stated.
