Bank Holidays in March 2024 in India: Due to the celebration of festivals and National & International Important Days in March 2024, banks will experience several holidays. If you have any urgent tasks to complete regarding the bank in such a case, complete it right away.
Banks will be closed on all national holidays and some regional holidays depending on the state, per guidelines from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The state administration determines regional holidays. There will be a total of more than 9 days off work in the March month as per the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) schedule of holidays.

March 1, 2024: Chapchar Kutch – Banks will remain close in Mizoram.
March 3, 2024: Sunday
March 8, 2024: Mahashivaratri – Banks will remain close in most of the states.
March 9, 2024: Second Saturday
March 10, 2024: Sunday
March 17, 2024: Sunday
March 22, 2024: Bihar Diwas – Banks will remain close in Bihar.
March 23, 2024: Fourth Saturday
March 24, 2024: Sunday
March 25, 2024: Holi Celebration/ Dhuleti, Dol Jara/ Dhulandi – Banks will remain close in most of the states.
March 26 & 27, 2024: Yaosang Second Day/ Dhulandi – Banks will remain close in Bihar, Manipur and Odisha.
March 29, 2024: Good Friday: Banks will remain close in most of the states.
March 31, 2024: Sunday
Bank holiday schedule may differ between different states, except for the observance of Second/Fourth Saturdays and Sundays holidays.
Note: Although banks are closed, consumers may still perform a variety of tasks online. Digital services like UPI, mobile banking, and internet banking are unaffected by bank vacations. In this case, holidays will not have any impact on your job if it can be completed online.
