The Great Indian Travel Bazaar is a Leading Indian Inbound Tourism business networking platform. The Tourism Department of the Government of Rajasthan, the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) conduct GITB (Great Indian Travel Bazaar).
More than 280 international travel agencies from around the world and more than 290 Indian exhibitors attend GITB to demonstrate their products. More than 11,000 pre-scheduled structured face-to-face networking events among foreign buyers and Indian sellers take place over the span of two days.
Talking at the preview gathering, Principal Secretary of, the Tourism Department, Gayatri Rathod, said, "All the foreign representatives having participated in GITB would be brought from Delhi to Jaipur by the 'Palace on Wheels'. The United Nations has designated 2023 as the International Year of Millet, and as such, a variety of millet food products, as well as Rajasthan's traditional cuisine, will be made available to foreign delegates during the GITB's inaugural session."
The 12th Edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar 2023 will take place this year from April 23 to April 25 at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC) in Rajasthan.
FICCI, which was founded in 1927, is India's biggest and oldest apex business organization. Its history is intertwined with India's struggle for independence, industrial growth, and rise of new as one of the world's fastest-growing economies. FICCI is the non-governmental, non-profit voice of India's industries and businesses.
FICCI expresses the points of view and worries of the industry by influencing policy, encouraging debate, and engaging with policymakers and civil society. It serves members from the Indian private and public corporate sectors, as well as multinational corporations, drawing strength from diverse regional chambers of commerce and industry across states and reaching out to over 2,50,000 businesses.
