Samsung Galaxy S22 Series, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series Specification and Price

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event 2022: 

Galaxy Unpacked was Samsung's first event of the year on Wednesday. At the event, Samsung revealed the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S22, and Samsung Galaxy S22+, the company's new flagship smartphones. There's more; Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. It is Samsung's way of putting an end to the Note series for good with features such as the S-Pen integrated into the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra:

• With the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung releases its first flagship device with an S-Pen in 2022. This phone comes with an S-Pen that is embedded into the phone's chassis and Samsung promises 70 percent reduced latency.
• The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
• Among the features of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are the quad rear camera setup along with a 108MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens.
• Selfie photos can be taken with the 40MP front camera.
• Similar to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features Space Zoom with 10x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom using AI Super Resolution technology.

• There are four storage options for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, including 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
• Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a 5,000mAh battery, as well as wireless charging with 15W and Wireless PowerShare reverse wireless charging.
• 45 W Fast Charging support is also available with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22:

• The Samsung Galaxy S22 features 120 Hz AMOLED displays that are powered by the latest chipset.
• Using the Armor Aluminium chassis, the 6.1-inch display of the Samsung Galaxy S22 is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.
• With an octa-core 4nm SoC paired with 8GB of RAM, the device features Eye Comfort Shield technology for blue light control.
• There is a 50-megapixel wide-angle dual-pixel camera along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization on the Samsung Galaxy S22.
• Selfies can be taken with a 10MP front camera. 

• In addition to up to 256GB of internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S22 offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
• It contains a barometer, accelerometer, geomagnetic, gyroscope, hall, and ambient light sensor.
• The battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S22 is 3,700mAh, coupled with fast charging capabilities of 25W and wireless charging of 15W. In addition, Wireless PowerShare is supported for reverse charging.

Samsung Galaxy S22+

• The Samsung Galaxy S22+ also features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with support for Samsung's Eye Comfort Shield same as its big brother, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
• A powerful octa-core 4nm SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, also powers the Galaxy S22+.
• Similarly, the device is equipped with back and front cameras, just like the Samsung Galaxy S22.

• With the Samsung Galaxy S22+, you'll have the same onboard storage and connectivity options as with the Samsung Galaxy S22.
• The battery is 4,500mAh, has 45W fast charging, wireless charging with 15W, and reverse wireless charging via Wireless PowerShare.

Prices and Availability of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in India:

• Storage options for the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will be 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB respectively.
• Storage options for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra include 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 12GB/ 1TB.
• Galaxy S22 pricing starts at $799 (approximately 59,900 rs), while Galaxy S22 Plus starts at $999 (roughly 74,800 rs). Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra begins at $1,199 (roughly Rs 89,700). From February 25, Samsung will start selling the Galaxy S22 series smartphones.
• Samsung has not announced the prices for India yet.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series:

As the company's successor to the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is another Samsung device introduced this year in the Galaxy Tab S8 Series. Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra feature an enhanced S Pen, along with optional 5G connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8:

• The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 sports an 11-inch LTPS TFT display with WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) and a pixel density of 276ppi and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
• It is powered by a 4nm octa-core SoC, possibly the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
• In addition to a 13MP primary sensor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a 6MP ultra-wide sensor and an LED flash. The front camera has a 12MP resolution.
• Onboard storage on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is up to 256 GB, and it can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
• The tablet comes with 5G and 4G LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy Tab S8 is equipped with accelerometers, ambient light sensors, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and hall sensors.
• There are four stereo speakers on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, which are powered by AKG and Dolby Atmos.
• n addition to providing an upgraded DeX mode, the tablet also functions as a second monitor with a touchscreen.
• The device is powered by an 8,000mAh battery and it supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 (up to 45W).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+

• Featuring a 12.4-inch WQXGA+ (2,800 x 1,752 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 266ppi and 120Hz refresh rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ offers fast, fluid, and responsive performance.
• The Galaxy Tab S8 is equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back with a 13MP primary sensor and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide sensor alongside an LED flash and a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the front.
• There is up to 256GB of internal storage on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1TB). A USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and 4G LTE are available as connectivity options.
• A gyroscope, accelerometer, hall sensor, ambient light sensor, and magnetometer are included.
• Samsung's Galaxy Tab S8+' battery contains 10,090mAh and supports SuperFast Charging 2.0 (up to 45W).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra:

• Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra offers a large 14.6-inch 2960x1848 pixel WQXGA+ Super AMOLED display with 240ppi, 120Hz refresh rate, and the same 4nm octa-core SoC as the other two tablets. It also includes up to 16GB of RAM.
• In addition to the main 13MP sensor, it also includes a 6MP wide-angle sensor with an LED flash.
• It has dual cameras on the front, which include 12MP wide-angle and ultra-wide lenses, and the cameras are available in a notch in the display.
• The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with 512GB of internal storage as well as the option of an external microSD card (up to 1TB).
• In this tab, you will find the same connectivity options and onboard sensors as the other two.

Prices and Availability of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra:

• The price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 begins at $699.99 (approximately Rs 52,400), Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ begins at $899.99 (approximately Rs 67,300), and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra at $1,099.99 (approximately Rs 82,300).
• Pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S8 range will start on Wednesday, February 9; sales will begin in select countries, including the US, Europe, South Korea, on February 25.  
• Samsung has not announced the prices for India yet.
