The Summer Festival in Mount Abu takes place during the month of Vaishakh. The festival witnesses an extraordinary longstanding custom of the Garasia tribal community from all over Rajasthan who come to Mount Abu to immerse in the ashes of their departed elders. They participate in the festivities afterward by singing and dancing in their traditional attire. The convergence of the Garasia community brings with it a rich tribal tradition of "snatching brides" during this fair. Every year, the Summer Festival comes together with this cultural extravaganza.

Programs at Mount Abu Summer Festival: Music from soulful ballads opens the summer festival, followed by Ghoomar, Gair, and Daph dance styles that are mesmerizing. One of the highlights of the concert is Sham-e-Qawwali, which features some of the best folk singers in India. A colorful folk culture showcase is also included in the festival, as are horse racing, tug of war, skating races, and CRPF band shows.
