Indian Women's Hockey: Road to the Tokyo Olympics 2020
The Indian women's national hockey team represents India internationally in hockey. In India Hockey is governed by Hockey India. Currently, the Indian Women's hockey team is ranked 7th in World, and the best team in Asia. Indian Women's Hockey Team had won the gold medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and 1982 Asian Games. Indian Women's Hockey Team had also won the Women's Asia Cup twice in 2004 and 2017. Indian Women's Hockey Team had also won the Asian Champions Trophy in 2016. Indian Women's Hockey Team currently participating in the 2020 Summer Olympics, and for the first time in the history of Indian Women's Hockey, the team have reached the semi-final in an Olympic event
