1st December: World AIDS Day – The goal of World AIDS Day, which is commemorated on December 1st each year, is to increase public awareness of HIV/AIDS, remember those who have died from the disease, and provide support for those who are still infected. 4th December: Indian Navy Day – Every year on December 4, Indian Navy Day is observed to honour the Indian Navy's remarkable achievements and contributions. It celebrates the anniversary of Operation Trident, which displayed India's naval supremacy during the Indo-Pak War in 1971. The purpose of Navy Day is to increase public understanding of the Indian Navy. On this day, parades, navy meetings, and other public activities take place.

Hornbill Festival (December 1 to December 10): An annual cultural event called the Hornbill Festival takes place in Nagaland, India, usually in the first week of December.
