Ultimate Kho Kho is the first-ever professional Kho Kho league organized by Mr. Amit Burman in collaboration with the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI). In its first year, Kho Kho has been marketed into a professional sport with the aim of enhancing its visibility and promoting its growth.

Bringing India's own homegrown sport into the spotlight and making it the most sought-after sports league in the country is the goal of the initiative. By elevating the age-old Indian sport to international standards and showcasing young talent to a pan-Indian and global audience, the Ultimate Kho Kho League provides the opportunity for young talent to shine.

Among the franchise owners are some of the biggest names in business and entertainment.

Six teams will compete in the inaugural season of Ultimate Kho Kho:

Fight for the title of first-ever Ultimate Kho Kho. A new era of Ultimate Kho Kho is about to start, proving true to the league's tagline 'India Maar Chalaang'. The players will have the chance to impress the fans and become national stars with their top-notch performance.

In the first season, 30 games will be played followed by four playoff matches.

Ultimate Kho Kho 2022: Schedule

In New Delhi, August 2: Season 1 of the Ultimate Kho Kho, a competition involving six teams, will begin on August 14 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Pune. The organizers on Tuesday (August 1) announced the schedule for the inaugural season of the league. The league's inaugural season schedule was released by the organizers on Tuesday, August 1.

Mumbai Khiladis and Gujarat Giants will square off in the first game of the evening on the inaugural day of the recently established franchise-based league. On August 14, Chennai Quick Guns will play Telugu Yoddhas as the next event.

On matchday 2, i.e., August 15 - Independence Day, the viewers will see Rajasthan Warriors and Odisha Juggernauts begin their league journey and clash with Mumbai Khiladis and Chennai Quick Guns, respectively.

The league stage will feature 30 games between August 14 and August 30. Beginning on September 2 with the Eliminator, the Playoffs will follow., Qualifier 2 will occur on September 3, while Qualifier 1. September 4 is the scheduled date for the FINAL.

Ultimate Kho Kho is promoted by the Chairman of Dabur India, Amit Burman in collaboration with the Kho Kho Federation of India.

Format: The nation's first franchise-based Kho-Kho league, which will include an exciting format and two matches per day throughout the league stage of the competition, will provide fans with a visual spectacle.

League Stage: During the 30-match league stage, which runs until August 31, each side will face the other twice. The top four clubs will advance to the playoffs.

Playoffs Stage: Top-2 teams will square off in Qualifier 1, with the victor advancing directly to the championship game. The third and fourth-ranked teams, on the other hand, will compete in the Eliminator for a spot in Qualifier 2, where they will face the Qualifier 1 losers. The winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will compete in the final.
