In India currently, the world's largest vaccination campaign is taking place. Two vaccines are already being used for this purpose which is COVISHIELD and COVAXIN. But recently the Indian government has approved the Russian vaccine Sputnik-5. So now we have three vaccines in India, so you can get any of these vaccines. All of these vaccines are safe, and effective against coronaviruses, so whichever of these three vaccines are available at your nearest vaccine centre, you should get that vaccine in order to fight COVID-19.
Covishield Vaccine:
The Covishield vaccine is produced by Oxford University and AstraZeneca. The vaccine is being produced by the Serum Institute of India, Pune. A deal has been reached between the Serum Institute of India and Oxford University, according to which half the cost of each vaccine will go to Oxford University. The Covshield vaccine is being used by most countries of the world. The Covishield vaccine is the world's most effective vaccine against mutant strains. The Covishield vaccine has been created using a single virus found in chimpanzees. The genetic structure of this virus resembles that of the Covid virus, so the Covishield vaccine has been created using the adenovirus. The Covishield vaccine has been approved by the WHO to use this vaccine. The effectiveness rate of the Covishield vaccine is 81%. The Covishield vaccine protects against severe symptoms of corona and prevents the infected from going on a ventilator. Covishield vaccine is easy to maintain, this vaccine can be taken anywhere from 2 degrees to 8 degrees and the remaining vaccine is also stored in freeze.
Covaxin:
Covaxin is prepared by Bharat Biotech and ICMR. Inactivated platforms have been used to make Covaxin. Under this process, the dead virus is injected into the body, which produces antibodies and then kills the antibodies. This inactivated virus prepares the body's immune system to recognize the real virus and fights and tries to eliminate it when an infection occurs. The effectiveness of Covaxin is around 78%. According to research, Covaxin can reduce the risk of fatal infection and mortality by 100%. According to another research, Covaxin is effective against all variants of CORONA. No matter how many mutations the CORONA virus does, Covaxin will be effective on all of them.
Sputnik-5:
The Sputnik-5 vaccine is produced in Moscow. The Sputnik-5 vaccine can be stored from 2degree to 8degree. The Sputnik-5 vaccine is a viral vector vaccine, but this vaccine is made from two viruses, so it has two different doses. The Sputnik-5 vaccine has been considered the most effective vaccine ever. The Sputnik-5 vaccine is about 91. 6% effective. This vaccine mimics the prickly proteins found in the CORONA virus, which attack the body first. The immune system is activated as soon as the vaccine reaches the body and the body produces antibodies and these antibodies protect the body from the CORONA virus.
