Bharatpur is located in the Braj region of State Rajasthan, around 38 kilometres from Mathura. Bharatpur was carved at Mewat and got its name from Lord Bharat (Lord Rama's brother). Bharatpur is an India City in eastern Rajasthan. At its center is the 18th Century Lohagarh Fort, surrounded by a moat. Bharatpur was founded by Maharaja Suraj Mal in 1733 AD, The town of Bharatpur is the District Headquarter and Divisional Headquarter.

Bharatpur District is a part of the National Capital Region of India Delhi.There is a big Lohagarh Fort, Inside the fort there is the Government Museum, which displays artifacts of local Rulers. In South there are Carved Statues of Hindu Gods such as Ganga Mandir and Laxman Mandir Temples. In the South of the city, Keoladeo National Park is situated which is a major bird sanctuary with hundreds of spices.

Banke Bihari Temple, Government museum, Deeg Bharatpur Palace, Dholpur Palace, Band Baretha etc are twelve attractive palaces in Bharatpur, so it is believed that it was a well- fortified City under his rule. Lohagarh Fort:- Lohagarh Fort is one  of the forts which is known as the invincible fort of India. Also considered as Iron Fort.

 

Ganga Temple:- One of the most beautiful temples of Bharatpur, the Ganga Mandir is Considered to be a great architectural piece owing to its central location within the city so many tourists are able to appreciate its beauty.

 

Bharatpur National Park:- Now known as the Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur National park is a famous avifauna Sanctuary and a bird Watching paradise listed among UNESCO'S world Heritage Sites. 

 

Banke Bihari Temple:- It is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Shri Banke Bihari Mandír, established by Swami Haridas,a guru of the famous singer Tansen shelters the image of Lord Krishna in the "Tribhanga" posture.

 

Government Museum:- Museum Located in the premises of Lohagarh Fort in Gopalgarh Bharatpur, Government Museum was established in 1944 AD.

 

Deeg Turism:- Deeg is a small town in the state of Rajasthan. This was founded by Maharaja Suraj Mal in the 18th Century, Deeg served as the summer resort to the Royal family.

 

Dholpur Palace:- Dholpur palace, known as Raj Niwas palace that was founded in the 19th century. Lately Converted into a heritage hotel, the regal palace has a total of 40 room's. Surrounded by beautiful peacock gardens.

 

Band Baretha:- This Constructed by Raja Ram Singh. Band Baretha is a tiny village 44 kilometers from Bharatpur. Formally known as Shreepast and shri prasastha, the highlight of there's the namesake dam which is built on the kulkand river.

 

Laxman Temple:- It is beautifully made of sandstone and marble. There are two Laxman temples in the city, one of them almost 4Centuries old which is the founder of Bharatpur, Maharaja Baldev Singh. How to Reach:- Its nearest Airport is in Delhi,its distance from Bharatpur 184 km.

Other nearest airports like Agra, Jaipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad all are major cities of India. All major cities which makes it easy for the people to reach here. By train, Bharatpur,Jaipur, Agra, Delhi, Mathura all major cities have Direct trains so easily reach there.
