The list of World's Most Popular and Listened Podcasters in 2022 is as follows –
Rogan and comedian Brian Redban started it on December 24, 2009, on YouTube. Redban served as the show's only co-host and producer up until 2012, when Jamie Vernon was brought on board to help out. Eventually, Vernon would seize control of the production.
In 2015, it was one of the most well-known podcasts in the world, consistently attracting millions of viewers per episode and including a wide range of guests, such as Senator Bernie Sanders, Elon Musk, and whistleblower Edward Snowden. The Joe Rogan Experience main YouTube site has been the only place to listen to the podcast since December 2020, with highlights available there as well.
Before moving to a private studio in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, the podcast was first produced at Rogan's house in California. After the podcast was granted an exclusive Spotify license in 2020, production was moved to Austin, Texas.
